We have had a fantastic New Year break here in Northumberland. Stable Cottage was the perfect retreat - really cosy with everything we could possibly need. We have explored Kielder, Harbottle, Otterburn and thoroughly recommend doing some walks by Hadrians Wall - the views are stunning. The weather was pretty good until New Years Day but even the wind, rain and power cut didnt dampen our spirits. A huge thank you to Nigel and Rachael for first class hospitality. We certainly plan on returning to Northumberland, there is so much more to explore
