We have had two long days in Houston, full of appointments for Isabelle, and I am going to be real here, yesterday I was feeling very discouraged and blaming myself, but I am so thankful that I was able to speak with my grandmother last night and share my heart so she could redirect my focus. We received the whole exome sequencing results and Isabelle has epilepsy because of my genes and the test showed two other diseases that were inherited, needless to say, it was a quiet trip home. This morning, I am reminded of a workshop from the THSC Convention, Isabelle is my masterpiece, and I thank God for allowing me to raise her and I know that He has equipped me to care for her and during my weakest moments He is there giving me the strength to carry on and He has a plan for my masterpiece.
