We have just lost another cat. We thought the one we lost a few weeks ago was taken by a coyote...several months ago we lost another...all three were acting the same way...all three developed a really deep meow...we thought was age related...all three began eating less and drinking tons of water...we thought was age related...all three wanted to be in a warm place like under a light. All three wanted to lay on the stove top with the light on...we thought was age related...well I took a stool sample to the vet for this last one when he stopped eating and he had ingested poison...specifically bromethalin and sodium floride. This is a main ingredient of rat poison. All three had symptoms we failed to recognize because our cats were old. If you know anyone using poisons to rid their property of rodents please warn them they could be killing your pet. Hopefully they will care enough to stop...if you are lucky...we were not
