We have narrowed down our applicants for the Strength is Our Foundation fitness equipment grant to three finalists. I will be contacting these departments shortly to inform them that their applications will be scrubbed of all identifying marks and sent out to our judges today. We will announce the winner on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 at 12pm central time. To everyone that applied please know we had a lot of really good applications from all over and from all types of departments and stations. Do not give up or get discouraged if you didnt make the final cut. Our organization is really picking up steam and we WILL be giving out many more grants at one time and very soon. My advise for you is this, it costs you nothing to reapply. Simply save your application and send it back in when we open up. We will inform you if there has been any changes in the application. Look at your application and update it as necessary. I promise you this, if you dont apply, I promise you wont win. We would love to give a grant out to each and everyone of you. KEEP TRYING.
