We have our final installment of our interview with Lynne Woolgar. I also went and snagged one of my favorite projects of hers. She creates the most stunning altered items!!! What do you do when your mojo low or just plain on vacation? Through experience, Ive learned to not push through on my projects (especially CT projects), because that’s usually when I end up ruining them, and have to do a complete rip-down! So if I’m stuck, I’ll put the projects aside for a while and eventually it will come to me. As for when I have no mojo……I watch YouTube Videos, check out fave blogs, and sometimes, even try a sketch to work from. Often when I’m mojo-less, it’s because there’s something else I want to work on, usually something that is just for me or my home. Ive found that if I just go ahead and do the ‘something else’, I get inspired to go back to the regularly scheduled program!! LOL How do you approach a new technique that you haven’t tried before and might find daunting? I will try to find videos or step-by-step tutorials on how to do the techniques, and then test it out for myself. Sometimes, it gets tested on my CT projects, but more often I’ll try the technique in an old art journal, that Ive set aside just for that. How did you progress from beginning scrapbooking to your established style? OMG, if you want a good laugh, I’ll show you my first pages!! I really didn’t know what I was doing, when I first started scrapbooking, and that’s probably why, I didnt make many pages in the first 10 years. I just couldnt get into it. But when my Daughter announced she was pregnant, well, I wanted to be able to record that….so I turned to the internet. I found so many talented designers out there, and so many new products, and all of it was very inspiring. Many of my ‘new’ first layouts are scrap lifts. After a while, I was doing pages on my own, and eventually developed my own style…….which varies on my mood and the products used.
