We have really had some interesting guests today at the Harrison Welcome Center! Ted Gostas, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as an intelligence officer. In 1968 he was captured and remained a prisoner of war for five years, four and a half of which were spent in solitary confinement. During his imprisonment, Gostas’ resolve was unabatedly tested, both physically and psychologically. When Gostas finally returned home, he turned to art as a way of understanding the otherwise unimaginable circumstances he had survived. #VisitArkansas
