We have received some sad news that Warren Pratt, one of our long time IPMS Las Vegas Chapter members and a master modeler, passed away unexpectedly last weekend. His brother Murray and his roommate PK have said it was peaceful. Warren was a past Vice President of the Chapter. He was a great guy and a good friend. We enjoyed being with him at our club show last month. He had a good time both presenting awards and receiving one as well for his Honda NR500 motorcycle. He had received many other awards for his models previously. Warren stood out in a crowd, not just for his size, but his sense of humor and his contributions. His passing is a real loss. According to PK, there will be no local services at this time. His ashes will be spread during a memorial cycle ride in his honor planned for August 16. Everyone will be welcome.
