We have rescued 235 cats so far this year... 95% of them were not spayed or neutered before we rescued them. The only way the thousands of cats needing help in our city will start to decrease will be when spaying and neutering is realized as something that needs to be done. Spay and neuter bylaws are desperately needed in our city. Cats shouldnt be running around unfixed. This is a community problem and its huge! The only way the city will ever realize that you want a change is by you writing the people who can change it... Otherwise nothing will change. So many write us and ask us for help... Please also write the city and tell the mayor, council and bylaw manager that you want a change for cat spay and neuter bylaws and that you do not want unfixed cats roaming around.
