We have several areas in Berkeley County where panhandlers stand and bum for money, usually at stoplights or exits off of the interstate. Now Im not one to judge people b/c I for one dont like to be judged and I know people fall on hard times and are in a bind. But Im gonna have a little gripe here for a minute.....I have seen the same young, healthy-looking guy at the Spring Mills Walmart entrance a lot here lately. He has tats, smokes and today as I drove by hes talking on a cell phone. You can imagine where Im going to go with this.......why isnt this guy working somewhere drawing a paycheck? If he can physically stand in the heat for HOURS, afford a cell phone, cigarettes and tats, then he sure as heck needs to be on someones payroll earning his way like the rest of us!
