We have some exciting news to share with you today. Thanks to a recent grant award from Answers for Autism, Agape is able to offer a one of a kind program targeting job skill development for teens with Autism. This program is being offered at no cost to the participant and focuses on developing skills such as time management, prioritization, managing conflict and interacting with a supervisor. These skills will be developed while the students are learning about general equine care including determining feed, safely managing a variety of horses, performing health screenings and completing mock emergency scenarios. The program is scheduled to begin July 7 with rolling admission through July 14. Program space is limited to ensure adequate one on one coaching and development for each participant.
