We have to change the original date of the WORLDS LARGEST FAMILY DAY COOK-OUT & BAR-B-QUE to SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2014! The very popular old school picnic and house party have extended their weekend celebration to Saturday and Sunday this year. That would have been in conflict with our original dates. They have been celebrating for over twenty years and attract over 30,000 people, so it is in the best interests of us to move away from their dates. Our new date will be SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2014 and we hopefully want to attract some of their folks as well as keep our own group. Last year was an overwhelming success and everyone is looking forward to this year. We are working on a lot of surprises for this years event. There will be something for everyone! Bring the entire family. We have a full size water park (bring your own towels and sandals), Pony rides and face painting for the kids, Archery, Bid Whist and board games, volley ball and softball, plus horse shoe pitch. We will have the largest outdoor wooden dance floor ever with an earthquake sound system provided by Logans sound services. Deejays from around the country will stop by and tag team on the box, including Sam Chatman, Rodney Mack, DJ Dan and more. I always start off the first hour to get the day started. Steppin Organizations from Chicago and around the country will participate including Deja Vu, Garry Fields from Los Angeles, Bill Perkins from South Carolina, After 7, Vip Productions, Genuine Steppers, Darryl P, Big Red, WZON radion and Clubsteppin, just to name a few.
