We have to do a better job as parents, friends, and neighbors, and a community. We are not evil...there needs to a level playing field for our kids, and we have to begin leveling off at home. My parents may not have graduated from high school, but they were determined that we understood we are not inferior to anyone. My relatives and neighbors ALL either through personal achievement or directly telling us reinforced the fact that we are not less, but equal and at times even better. This is another reason we still need Fraternities, Sororities and other organizations. We need as many lines of defense as possible to fill the holes.
