We have to take the time to see the Nigerian kidnapping from their cultural perspective not just the American perspective. There are certain customs- mindsets- political, religious and historical views that cannot be bypassed no matter how desperate we are for a speedy resolution. If approached in a Rambo -kick the door down and rescue style, It could cause more harm than good. If you kill the leader of a poisonous movement in the heat of a battle, you could fuel the ideology and strengthen the evil movement to even greater proportions. It is a delicate surgery of negotiations and disarming of evil. We want our girls back now but we must realize that there ARE private negotiations and all night meetings that are taking place away from media in hopes of working out the WISEST way to rescue these girls. The media always tells a deliberate spin on every story reported. Sometimes the best resolution requires an uncomfortable patients as opposed to a rushed disasterous rescue. Perhaps our rallying in the States is just the attention the kidnappers crave. Why else would they make a video armed with guns laughing with other tough guys pridefully claiming responsibility for the whole world to see!! They desire fame... Perhaps even to recruit. This is their moment to shine (in their eyes). I say starve them. Use our most powerful weapon and call for supernatural assistance to provide the wisdom and direction needed to shut the whole thing down ! Least in our pursuit for immediate justice we trip over our emotions and aid the wrong side! I am confident that the safest resolution will be applied for the safe return of these girls. Negotiations are underway! TRUST!
