We have what is known locally as 3-Mile Bridge here in Mac. Its on 3-Mile lane & bridges over the Yamhill River -- tying both halves of the town together. Its probably 1/4 to 1/2 mile long. Any time that theres a good excuse for raising the good ol Stars & Stripes....both sides of the bridge are adorned with flags ... as well as the black & white ones for the POW - MIA. They are absolutely spectacular when theres a little wind blowing and theyre showing all their brilliance. Im sorry to say...our wind has died down enough that theyre not showing their best. One needs a good life Insurance policy to get out there too!! Crazy traffic!!!! Ive done this several times...various times of day...nothings any better than the other. ;-) But..Deanna Stahlnecker Lyda -- here they are for you. Apologize that the wind wasnt blowing for you!!! :D
