We hear a loud "boom" about 10:20 PM, and the power goes out. I called AL Power to tell them exactly where to come to. The guy came down the street, looked at OUR transformer and drove on by. He looked at EVERY one on our street. He went to the end of the road, and then we heard another boom. He finally came back to OUR house, and it was OUR transformer that blew. When he got the power came back on, the TV in my bedroom just showed a line across it....and then you could start the smell the "electrical wires" burning. So, the TV burned up. Does this normally happen when a transformer blows???
