We heard about this when Bella was getting her kidney transplant. It is very real and a lucrative business. One family on our floor was from Saudi Arabia. They came to Stanford for their sons transplant in order to ensure proper and safe medical practices occurred, as well as their own familys safety for religious reasons. We are fortunate that our justice system works in tandem so often with our medical system. My hope and prayer is that we continue to do what we can from where we are to ensure that for every human.
