We here at DFW Scanner want to send a huge THANK YOU and JOB WELL DONE to all the emergency responders who responded to the shooting today in Saginaw. As you probably know, an Arlington PD officer assigned to an FBI task force was critically shot in the groin/upper leg area while serving a warrant. The officer would have died in 10 minutes from blood loss (said the surgeon) if a tourniquet had not been applied. But one was. A huge hats off to the PD on scene, Saginaw FD, MedStar EMS, and all the other responders - thanks to you all, APD officer Det. Lodatto is alive and well this evening. Arlington PD Chief Will Johnson says things are "very optimistic." Fantastic job folks!!!
