The Tobey Prinz-Dovie Thurman Awards Dinner will be on Friday, December 6 at 1500 W. Elmdale (Immanuel Lutheran Church). Doors open at 6:00pm, dinner served at 6:30pm. This years awardees include housing activist Maryon Banks and education activist Jitu Brown. Cook County Commissioner Jesus Chuy Garcia will be our keynote speaker. Click here to RSVP. Lawrence, from 6 - 8pm for a peoples school board meeting representing our children, our schools, our city, and our voice!
