We in the church need to re-examine our understanding. God loves us unconditionally and desires to bless us in every way, BUT somewhere we got off track believing that God exists to make us happy! Actually, we exist to glorify God. Its not about us, Church.....its all about Him. God desires to use us, through our intimate knowledge of Him, empowered by Holy Spirit to do miracles, signs, and wonders, but not that we should boast. It is that He might be glorified in all the earth! Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:12-13 NKJV)
