We just completed our first tornado drill at CCS. All the 5th and 6th graders walked across the parking lot to the new High School holding the hand of one of the younger students. One safe room is for the elementary students and the other safe room was for the high school. All 760 students, teachers, and staff fit comfortably in the rooms. Mrs. O comforted the kids by explaining the constructions safety. She finished with a prayer thanking God for providing us with the safe rooms and for his provisions/safety. Yep, thats when I started tearing up. I am so thankful for the opportunity to send my kids to this school and that I get to be on staff here. God is good!
