We just met the last doctor in the GI practice with Dr Barrios. He will be seeing Madi in the hospital for this upcoming week. Dr Best said she is remaining on the TPN for the weekend and on Monday or Tuesday they will start challenging her body with non carbohydrate foods.(eggs). He is also going to take this time to try to get the pain under control. She will be on the anti-cramping medicine 24/7. If her body can not tolerate food, she will be on the TPN for a longer period and then challenged again. She had visitors yesterday, Pastor and Mrs Heinecke have been here twice this week. Michelle and Hannah stopped to see her Thursday while they were in Denver. Daddy and Madis bio-dad are both going to be visiting her today. In the pictures are Madi with some gifts. Our friend, Ruth Olsen sent a fun goodie bag of stuff to do and Madis Aunt talked to Twig the fairy at the North Carolina Ren Fest and Twig sent a get well card and an autographed picture. Madi always loves to see Twig every year at the Colorado Ren Fest. Madi will be working with PT some to start working on getting her strength back, too.
