We just received some very good news regarding my health from the results of the bone marrow biopsy. Here it is: The diagnosis is “splenic marginal zone lymphoma” meaning that the enlarged spleen is problematic, and my bone marrow has 5% lymphoma in it. This is NOT a problem, and is truly good news. The treatment to reduce the enlarged spleen is a weekly dose of an IV drug “rituxan” for four times, and then a re-test after about another 30 days to verify progress. Chemotherapy is NOT recommended or required! The only negative is that I have to cancel my prescription for medical marijuana...(just kidding for those who still don’t understand me). My prayer has been for increasingly good reports since the initial diagnosis. I am so humbled by God’s healing work in my body!
