We just received this feedback from one of our readers on our piece on domestic violence I thought I should share- Your article was great. People need to be educated to know the extent of the problem and how to prevent it. Most people who are abusers were abused them selves, but that shouldnt be an excuse. It takes a strong person to break the cycle, but it can be done. Hopefully with education people will start to seek help to prevent or stop this kind of behaviour. In the meantime we need to support the victims, whether they be women or men to hopefully prevent anymore deaths. I was one of the lucky ones, but what I went through still haunts me, and will do so forever.
