We just shared a video about the special properties of carbon that make life possible. But life owes its existence to water as much to carbon. But... why? Whats so great about it? Sure, its thirst-quenching and feels nice on our skin. But theres really nothing very interesting about it, right? No color, no taste, no smell. It doesnt do anything fancy like other cool compounds do. Well, water seems dull only because were very, very used to it. Its actually as magical as a substance can be. And life, the way we know it, wound be impossible if it werent for those properties! ~Tania
