We keep trying to establish democracy in the Middle East, yet refuse to help the ONE democratic state there. It is my opinion that we should have never gone into Iraq at all. But I digress from the point Id like to make.... I keep hearing the argument that if we had not left Iraq so soon... this is a moot point. We did, and even IF wed stayed, our people would have been in constant danger. Iraqi people would have been killed as well. I ask you, do Islam and democracy work side by side? Islam is seeking to establish a worldwide caliphate. The Quran teaches the establishment of this caliphate. The caliphate is to be governed by sharia law, democracy doesnt fit with Islamic doctrine or sharia law. Just as many Christians disagree on doctrine and interpretation of scriptures, just as many Christians attend church ad do not understand the scriptures...So called moderate Muslims may or may not understand or want the push for a caliphate. But it is happening regardless. Are we here in America in danger? When we release jihadists back into the fight and they say see you in New York and when we treat jihad killings as crime instead of terror, when we trade dangerous jihadists for captives, yes... we are in danger. It is ISLAMIC doctrine from the Quran that ALLAH demands the WORLD be made to submit to Islam. Until our leadership recognizes this, until our military is allowed to deal with this FACT... we are in danger.
