We know the holidays are a popular time for family and friends to visit patients at CHOP. Unfortunately, its also a popular season for colds and infections. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all patients and families, which includes efforts to minimize the risk of the spread infections. Due to the increase in upper respiratory infections and other serious flu and cold viruses during the winter months, CHOP is asking families to partner with us by limiting the number of visitors coming to CHOP to help reduce the risk of infections. Starting December 1st until March 31, 2015, visitors will be limited to: Parents/patient representatives, healthy siblings and four additional designated healthy visitors chosen by the family.
