We live in a wonderful community where people are always asking How can I help? Sometimes its very simple, doesnt take much time or even money, but it can make an impact on the lives of others. Operating two shelters: Maria House and Teresa Shelter takes a lot of supplies. So today, our answer to How can I help? Is simple, please consider donating basic supplies: toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, tissues, hand soap, laundry soap, hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, or other basic household supplies. If you think of your own home and how much of this stuff you go through, imagine an emergency shelter where people come and go every day or a transitional shelter where several families live and are in need. Thank you! You can drop supplies at Maria House 1561 Jackson St or Teresa Shelter 1111 Bluff St or mail them to us directly (some donors like to use online shopping this way).
