We live in an age based on Science and technology and if the general public doesn’t understand them then who is making all the decisions about science technology? There’s no more than a handful of congressmen with background on science at all. Who’s running science in a democracy where people know nothing about it? And this combustible mixture of ignorance and power, sooner or later, is gonna blow up in our faces.
