We looked into healthcare for Jerry this evening thru the Washington Healthplan Finder. At first we thought he was going to qualify for free healthcare. We were wrong, after his $222 tax credit he still has to pay. If he goes with the Bronze package it will cost him $21 per month with a $5250 Deductible and $5250 out of pocket. No co pay for emergency or office visit.....if he goes with the silver package it will cost $82 per month with a $750 deductible and $1150 out of pocket with no co pay for emergency or office visit. They want you to set up payment of your health insurance now and I think they will charge it on a date you pick for next month so coverage can start on 1/1/14. .... Not sure what to think, he needs help insurance and I am staying with whatever Durham has for us.
