We lost my Dad a year ago today. In his time he had the experiences of a dozen lifetimes; my only regret is that he did not get to see some of the recent accomplishments of his Daughter, Grandchildren and Great Grandchild of which he would have been immensly proud. Side note, the bronze is of my Father when he was a ferrier (horshoer). He was a professional bull rider, bareback bronc rider and a steer wrestler. He always said hed make it to the Cowboy Hall of Fame, well, he made it, the original of this bronze sits in the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs.
