We lost our beautiful Evie on Saturday. She would have been 6 in December. The emergency vet thinks it was either a heart problem or stroke based on the symptoms. She had no health issues. Ever. Within an hour she was gone. She started to pant heavily and jumped up on her blankies on the couch, her tongue turned a purplish-blue and again, within an hour was gone. We were blessed to have the sweetest dog weve ever known in our lives for 5 years and we are better for having known her. Although our hearts are now broken. These are some pictures I took of her last week hanging out on her couch watching tv and playing with her babies. :)
