We lost our beautiful Peaches today, brokenhearted I am! Shed been missing and living outside with no food for almost 6 weeks. Someone eventually saw my ad on the local internet site and they caught her and brought her back home, that was 3 weeks ago. She never properly recovered from her ordeal. She was skinny as hell, she stopped eating and she never cleaned herself. She was 15 and being lost in the winter for 6 weeks took its toll. She even stopped purring, something that she was famous for, its when she stopped purring that I knew we were going to lose her. We picked her up when she was 6 weeks old, I was with Liam, he was 10, and the woman who was giving the kittens away handed her to me and said here, this is the one I took peaches and she started purring right away...thatll do me, I thought! That was over 15 years ago. Peaches made a lot of noise, she liked to meow, loudly and constantly! Talking on the phone and Peaches would always be in the background making a racket, whoever we were talking to would say the same thing..........whats that racket???!!!! Everyone got used to it eventually, Peaches had to join in with the conversation. I cant believe shes gone and its broke my heart!
