We love Jesus and are in him to the degree we obey him. To the extent we are disobedient we are yet lacking in our faith, our love, and our willingness to be in him. The bible offers us no scheme by which we can escape obedience. All such schemes are the work of men. We are only as righteous as we are obedient. When we believe in Jesus Christ, that is when we set out to obey him, then the saving grace of God found in the help of the Holy Spirit, essential help without which no man can perfect himself, is ours, as Jesus promised. We each must will to repent of our sins as Jesus taught, which is to believe in him. Then the help of the Spirit, the grace of God can help us. Even God cannot help us in our repentance until we begin to war with our own sins. God has given us this part to play in our own salvation, our own creation in his sinless image To the extend we obey and repent of our willingness to do evil in this life, there will be no need of hell in the life to follow. To the extend we are disobedient and unbelieving in this life, hell is called for in the life to follow. No theological schemes can alter Gods plan of salvation. We must come clean and the Holy Spirit stands ready to help us do that. Minimize your need of hell in eternity, set out to obey Jesus and repent of your sins, now!!
