We love hearing about the happily-ever-afters of OHS animal - TopicsExpress

We love hearing about the happily-ever-afters of OHS animal alumni. Birdie was adopted from the OHS last month. Heres an update from Sue, her new human companion: In my previous experience, a cat in a new environment at first will either hide or spend hours sniffing every baseboard. Birdie did none of that. Instead, she jumped onto one of her cat trees within seconds, and had an immediate proprietary attitude towards everything in the apartment, including me. It was as if she were saying to herself: “This is mine. This is mine too. This Mommy thinks is hers, but it’s mine”. She also slept with me right from the start, clinging to my neck the whole night. If I hadn’t already been a goner, that would have done it for sure. Congratulations Birdie and Sue!
