We love hearing what volunteers who have taken part in our programmes are up to now. Steph, updated us on her future plans and shared her thoughts on her Raleigh experience: “ICS is the best thing I’ve ever done, amazing and absolutely life changing. Since doing ICS I value myself more as a global citizen, knowing that I can make a difference. The programme definitely helped shaped my career and future plans. I am currently studying Law at UWE but instead of doing criminal law as I had planned I am now tailoring my degree so that I can train to help others legally in third world countries. I’ve been back to Nicaragua to stay with my host family and the difference that our projects have made is incredible. They were so grateful to us and to the programme and I am so glad I took part.”
