We love updates from our adopters, and here is one we think you will enjoy. Frenchie came to us after eluding animal control in Wood County, OH, for quite some time. One day, he simply walked into the Holiday Inn French Quarter (hence his shelter name) and waited for animal control to pick him up, apparently cold and tired of running. After a short stay at the shelter, Frenchie came to the Sanctuary for Senior Dogs. Healthy, handsome, and engaging, he found a new home, a new name, and a new baby brother quickly. Charlie, as he is now known, settled in and became fast friends with his little brother Jake. Here is a recent update from Charlie and Jakes family: I adopted Charlie in March 2013, and hes the sweetest dog Ive ever known. He has exceptional manners and the most beautiful, unusual ears that demonstrate his mood. Hes fallen in love with his brother, Labrador puppy Jake and with me. No trust issues. No worries. No health issues. Hes very affectionate -- all he seems to need is a good petting ALL THE TIME. He gives great kisses! Thanks to The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs for uniting me with this wonderful dog. What a great update to begin the new year!
