We make our lives a tortuous labyrinth of roads that lead nowhere, with diversions, backtracking, twists and turns until we are well and truly lost. But the Lord is sure-footed and never loses track of us. We erect barriers but He knows the way round them. In the Garden of Eden God called out to Adam, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9). Adam did not answer but the Lord found him all the same! He came to seek and to save “completely” (Hebrews 7:25). That is His great work. He does not save people just for a day or two; He is the author of eternal salvation. “Safe in the arms of Jesus…” God bless you today.
