We may have lost but l think all United fans should be proud of how our team played today. We were probably lucky to not concede a penalty in their first half but thats as always a debatable point. I think Chris Smalling made 2 silly decisions to get sent off and could possibly have cost us a better result. In the second half it did look like a goal was coming and when you consider the back 4 we were playing with we did well defensively. Losing Marcos Rojo was another blow to the defence it seems there is a curse on us in those positions. To be honest for the last 20-25 minutes of the match we most definitely dominated and its a pity we didnt make the most of our chances then. At the end of the day going to the home of the champions being reduced to 10 men for more than half of the match and when you consider our matches against City last season we can be pretty happy with the teams performance!
