We met with Henry Bellingham at Lynnsport today. Further details to follow. Just to make you aware Jo Rust (Labour Party), Michael de Whalley (Green Party) and Richard (Toby) Coke (UKIP) have shown support and understanding of our opposition to the scale of this housing development. Michael was a leading campaigner in the fight against the incinerator and after the consultation last night via Facebook offered to give us their support and advice. We are not politically motived and it does show that all these people emphasise and understand our concerns so why doesn’t Alistair Beal and the councillors who are on the planning and re-generation committees who are making the decisions? They were voted in by us and should be representing us, and if not at the next elections they can be voted out by us.
