We must build a national consensus that wildlife killing contests must end. This article has just been published by Arizona news. In Arizona, wildlife belongs to everyone. Management decisions should be made strategically for the sake of the entire ecosystem. Note: Several large killing contests have recently been held in Arizona including this years World Championship Coyote Calling Championship. We have counted at least 12 killing contests in AZ that are planned. Some of these contests say the killers can kill anywhere including in other states such as NM. The killers often use public lands. Many coyotes and other wildlife are killed needlessly by people who like killing for fun and prizes.
