“We must demand quality care for our Central Texas veterans from the Temple Veterans Affairs (VA) facility,” was the message of my conversation with Acting VA Secretary Sloan Gibson. The discussion between Secretary Gibson and I took place shortly after I spoke with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director, James Comey, and secured a FBI investigation into criminal allegations at the Temple, VA facility.
