We must now our bow heads to a fallen bird RIP.....does anyone remember this XL falcon built by Hud & Rod Johnstone back in the mid 90s?? The XL was featured in a couple of Street Machine magazines and scored quite well at Summernats. When they first built it, it was all orange. The 2 tone scheme was done later. Running gear from memory was a 221 2v and single rail 4speed with a borgy Warner diff. Converted to 2 door like the american versions. The Johnstones then sold it to a local kid who put it sideways into a table drain. Here is all that remains, bought buy a Dubbo local to one day mount on the side of a shed. I know I have some pics at home but they are over 10 hrs away, So if anyone has pics of this bird in it glory days please post them up on this post.
