We need a unified congress to get anything done in this country. Without it we will continue to self destruct from the inside outwards. We also need to find a way to pay off our debts so we can move forward as a country. But with the political split between Republicans and Democrats it will be a long time before that happens. They need to learn from the Congresses of the past you must compromise to move forward.
