We need immediate action to prevent additional Ebola victims from bringing the disease to our country. This would include rigorous screening at airports in other countries where people are getting on planes coming to the United States. We can not afford to make a mistake on this issue. Taking a passive approach toward this threat as Congressman Bera has, in effect relying on foreign officials to screen passengers for Ebola, is not acceptable.The consequences of Ebola taking root in our country are catastrophic. Congressman Bera needs to step up and do his job before this gets out of control.
