We need some advice! From someone who knows! On 26 March a unanimous resolution was passed in a full FCRC meeting, that a Community committee be set up and re-examine the development proposal BASED ON THE GILLESPIE MASTERPLAN MARCH 2003 (p1 or 536). This motion has never been rescinded nor altered in any way! However, without going back to FCRC the Committee in its wisdom, at the Design Workshop on 3 June 2014 decided after further discussion it was agreed by the sub committee that the Gillespies Master Plan.... would be unlikely to be economically viable ( p2 or 537). Surprise! Surprise! Now to my logical mind this would have made any changes null and void, but the wise men and women continued until they foisted the current plan on us. Surely this is illegal! At best they should have reported back and had the matter reassessed, at worst they knowingly and willingly went against the legal motion and misled the FCRC and the public. Anyone know the legal position with the Local Government Act please?
