We need three separate royal commissions 1, banks, 2, white collar - TopicsExpress

We need three separate royal commissions 1, banks, 2, white collar crime regarding big business & 3 political corruption connected to big business, especially where any significant degree of profits, benefits or control are connected to foreign owners. As is obvious, once areas of investigations are identified, terms of reference need to be best practice related to public interests & outcomes linked to genuine rectification of identified problems, where the benefit of the doubt regarding these outcomes sides with the public interests. Before any royal commission there needs to be consideration of the history of all these types of investigations / enquiries where so many are actually fact finding missions to gather evidence, lock it up & aid the corrupt in weaving a defence to the evidence gathered. Aside from the need for these types of inquiries, what has come to be on the public record so far is enough to take effective actions to hold to account this corruption. The laws are in place now & where they have been tampered with or contrived to allow the wealthy to remain unaccountable, they should be addressed. There are ample opportunities for retrospective actions to see accountability regarding these corrupt acts that damage the reasonable best interests of the public. These companies cant possibly claim ignorance regarding the law or obvious intent to unfairly damage the interests of the public in any regard as they have the funds, professional background & connections to access the absolute best advice available. There are no actions by these companies that justify any form of honest mistake, they are well informed & well warned. Unless we move from this wilful ignorance by those who know better & complicity of the rest in supporting ignoring the obvious, this stuff will ruin this country as it is doing in significant parts of the rest of the world. The fall of Rome only really impacted people at the time. Our current fall of Rome situation has gone beyond the treatment of people & moved to the environment which, if pushed to far will possibly not give us a second chance. All of this is connected to the initial failure where corruption has seen a very small minority of ultra greedy people gain virtual total control in things that matter to them. We have the experience & know how to fix this problem so it is actually a matter of choice regarding the actions we take.
