We need to remember the word entitlement or entitle or entitled as in ENTITLED TO, is something that means we paid into it; we contributed - we earned, we ARE ENTITLED to be PAID BACK and supplemented with what WE CONTRIBUTED TO! Sometimes they use the word entitlement as if it were a dirty word... Just as the word discriminating is not a bad word -- we discriminate when we make a choice for college; one that suits our needs and one we can afford. We discriminate when we buy a home - again, what we need and can afford. Major purchases require close discrimination before a sound decision can be made. Oh yes, and the word GAY ALSO MEANS HAPPY; it is sad when a society allows their language to be misinterpreted or reinterpreted on a mass-level, rather than allows the individual to employ it on a case-by-case basis.
