We need to stop electing religious people. We need to elect scientists or engineers into office. This random Facebook fellow says a related point nicely: America today is like that cool guy i college... 20 years later. Usa was once great nation, kn the forefront of science and social evolution. Ahead of every other country in the world. Just like that cool guy who had it all - good looks, fancy car, part time job at a local bar and his own place in his mothers basement. But 20 years later that same guy still lives in the dream that he is the best of the best, while the rest of the class has moved on. Nowadays he is just a sad character, closing in on 40 and still stuck in crappy job and an expanding waistline. And thats were USA is today Sure... a great nation once, that everyone looked up to. But Im sorry... your country is stuck in so many many ways - living on memories of glory. The rest of the world have moved on... away from religious fanatics and superstition, predatory business models, and the belief that every problem can be solved with guns... Come on america... move out of your moms basement!
