We need your help! The House has scheduled a vote this week on a bill to permanently enact several charitable tax incentives, including the Conservation Easement Incentive Act. Please tell Congress to vote YES on this key piece of legislation. Since 2006, an enhanced income tax deduction has allowed family farmers, ranchers, and other land owners to get a significant tax benefit for donating a conservation easement on their land. This provision has proved to be an extremely important tool in the battlefield preservation community. Unfortunately, it expired at the end of 2013, but by contacting your member of Congress, we can help get this reinstated and again help preserve battlefield land!
