We need your help!!!!! We have 3 very sick buns right now. Little Rio is slowly gaining weight but remains in our medical area so he can be closely monitored. He came to us extremely underweight. We have to be very careful to not feed him too much too fast and he is on medications to help his body get used to absorbing nutrients. Then we have Bubba and Willa. They were dumped on a loading dock. We took them in, had them spayed and neutered. Everything was going great. Then, they started losing weight and losing weight FAST. We did lots of top secret ;) tricks to get them back to normal. It became apparent we needed help. We took them back to Dr. Colby of Windward Animal Hospital where their poops were sent off for analysis and blood was drawn. Their blood work came back extremely irregular. The tests indicated either a rare genetic disorder or poisoning! We are treating them with everything we can to flush their system and keep them comfortable. It is literally injectable fluids plus another injection and 4 oral medications twice a day. We also are weighing them twice a day. We have amazing volunteers that help us to ensure that all the buns are happy, healthy an cared for. However, we sure could use some donations.
